Carolin Gödeke works as a freelance-artist and dance-performer and as a teacher for Jugend im Museum e. V. (guided tours
and workshops in museums). She teaches Indian Dance at studio a compas, Berlin.

Building masks with children: With paper, papermachee, plaster or fabric, Carolin Gödeke is designing and
producing masks together with the children. These are inspired by different cultures: From African or Asian tribes as well as
from native Americans or even from ancient pharaohs of Egypt... Carolin Gödeke is bringing some examples for the chosen
item. Every child will be working on his/her individual mask. If there is enough time, the children can also create a short
mask-dance-performance.
This offer is for children/youth between 6 and 14 years, either for groups up to 12 people, or as an open event, for
example at festivals or street parties.
Duration: at least 2,5 hours. 55 Euro per hour (excluding material). For events outside Berlin you should add travel
fees.
