Illustration: Illustration means for Carolin Gödeke a special form of visual communication, in which the
various dimensions of the text and also the subtle meaning "between the lines" are expressed. She is illustrating her own
texts as well as the ones from other authors. The black-and white-drawings (ink on paper) are coloured with Acryl, Gouache,
Marker or coloured pencils. Her favourite subjects are living beings: people, animals, and nature. Carolin Gödeke is
especially interested in the expression and psychological background of her characters and in the different ways of
commication.
